1st nine weeks Progress Reports were sent home today. If your student has missed multiple days due to Covid or sickness, they may be missing assignments and their grade could be inaccurate. The parent portal should be turned on soon so you may check grades from home. We will send home login instructions as soon as they become available. Reminders: Tomorrow is $1 Hat Day for United Way and we will recognize 9/11 by wearing red, white, and blue tomorrow. Thank you and have a good evening!
Cullman County School campuses will be closed Tuesday 8/31/21 due to the threat of severe weather. Students and staff will work remotely.
West Point Middle School currently has an absentee rate above 15 percent. As a result... beginning tomorrow it is required for all students at West Point Middle to wear a mask while indoors. Masks will be required until our absentee rate falls below 15 percent and will be in place through the end of the day Friday and at that point the numbers will be re-evaluated. If our numbers continue to rise, we will have to transition to remote learning. Parents, please create a backup plan now in case we have to close our buildings. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work our way through this pandemic. We hope that everyone stays well!
Correction: The GoFan issue has been fixed. If you search West Point Middle, all of our home football and volleyball games are showing and allowing for purchase of tickets. Cash will not be accepted at the gates. Thank you!
Good morning! We are off to a pretty good start for our first full week with our students! For all MS sporting events this season, tickets will need to be purchased online through GoFan. The first home football game will be Monday night at 5pm vs. Haleyville in a jamboree. Currently, there are issues with GoFan's search engine. You must search Haleyville Middle in order to find the game to make the purchase of tickets. When you come to the gates Monday night, you will need to pull up the tickets on your phone to be redeemed....Also, when your child is absent from school and you send in a parent note to the office, please make sure to sign the first and last name of the student and of the parent. We hope everyone stays well!
