Good morning, we just need to clarify a few things regarding physicals....Reminder: ALL players trying out for any sport must have an up-to-date physical on file before trying out. Physicals are valid for one calendar year....There will be a physician doing physicals this Wednesday at the HS gym for $20 during 7th period for current 7th/8th grade athletes. Current 6th graders are NOT allowed to receive this physical. One can get their physicals completed with their child's physician or most urgent care centers. Thank you!

We are super proud of our students for working so hard on ACAP testing so far this week! We have one more day of testing tomorrow for 6th and 8th grade as they will take the Science portion. We will have Cha-Cha's Shaved Ice available for students to purchase after testing tomorrow for $5....Also, progress reports for the 4th nine weeks will be sent home with students tomorrow. Parents, we will begin ACAP testing on Tuesday morning for the majority of our 6th-8th grade students and will be continue testing each morning for the rest of the week. We appreciate you ensuring that students are in attendance this week, get plenty of sleep, and eat breakfast each morning. Although our school is not defined by one score, the students and teachers have been working extremely hard and we appreciate you encouraging your child to give their best this week. We are excited to see how well they perform this week on these tests! Cha Cha's Shaved Ice will be at school Friday after testing with treats for students for $5 if students want to make a purchase ....Also the America250 shirts deadline has been extended to Tuesday morning at 8am for anyone that wants to purchase these patriotic shirts between $12-$15. Good afternoon...1) The 8th graders will be going to tour Cullman Area Technology Academy (CATA) on Tuesday, the 27th via bus to learn about the various opportunities offered for them next year. Good afternoon 7th grade parents/guardians...All 7th graders will be travelling by bus on Tuesday of this week to Wallace State to attend the American Character Kickoff assembly as part of their Civics class where they will be learning about civic responsibility and character building among other things . The buses will leave around 8:45 a.m. and should be back to WPM campus by 12pm. If there is an issue with your child attending, please contact the school by Tuesday. Thank you!

Good afternoon... 1) Report Cards for the 2nd nine weeks were sent home with students today, please review these with your child. 2) Archery tryouts will be this week on Wednesday and Thursday starting at 6:30am in the gym. Parents, we are having a high number of students arriving to school tardy over the last few weeks. Remember, that school starts at 7:50a.m. daily. A WP school bus should pass by each residence every morning that would ensure your child gets to school on time. Our policy is that on the 4th tardy to school each semester, before school detention is assigned to the student. We appreciate everyone making sure your child arrives to school on time daily and prepared for the school day. Thank you!

Good afternoon! 1) Students will receive their 1st Nine Weeks Progress Reports tomorrow, please review these with your child. 2) Tomorrow is Grandparent's Day and all are welcome to come eat with their grandchild during lunch. 6th grade lunch begins at 11:48, while 7th and 8th grade lunches are either at 12:15 or 12:38. 3) Tuesday of next week will be United Way Hat Day for $1.....We are off to a great start to the 25-26 school year and we appreciate your support!
