The latest updates will be posted here on our website. We are also posting the same resources on our school's Facebook page. Please check these resources regularly for the latest information!

Update as of 4/30/2020 - These are the dates and the times for you to pick your child’s belongings up at school and to return Chromebooks, textbooks, and library books.

Teachers will be at tables in front of the school, and belongings will be in plastic bags tagged in alphabetical order. There will be bins by each table to return library books and textbooks.

For 8th grade – Wednesday, May 6th from 9 – 2. 8th graders, bring your Chromebooks.
There will be a separate table for you to return those.

You may pick up you 8th grade graduation pictures at that time as well. Your homeroom teacher will have them.
We ask that you quickly get what you need and leave. Do not congregate. We have to keep moving and we need to stay within the legal limits of people in one place.

Gym locker belongings will be in the parking lot of the gym. Teachers will be there to help Coach Welborn and Coach Jones give those out. Again…do not congregate.

May 7th - pickup for 7th grade students 9-2 – Same procedures as 8th grade, but they do not have Chromebooks.

May 8th - pickup for 6th grade students 9-2 – Same procedures as 7th grade.

We know you have many questions about when report cards will be ready or about sports this summer or a number of things.

We do not have the answers to those questions, but we will do a callout and we will post online all the information we have as we get it.

Please help us make the pickup days as safe and efficient as possible.

If you have children in two different grades, we will get your things to you on one of those days. You won’t have to come two different days.

We know this has been a challenging time for you all, as it has been for us. This is absolutely not the way any of us would have wanted to end the year. We miss your children. Please know that teachers will be meeting in subject areas and grade levels over the next few weeks to plan for next year so we can catch up on what was missed as much as possible and so we are ready to welcome your children back to school with a solid academic plan.

Update as of 4/8/2020
- We have a little bit of information to pass on to our parents and students.

1) For those students opting to complete their packets, the packets will need to be turned into WPM on Monday, April 27th between 8am-3pm. These packets need to be sealed in a plastic bag with your child's name and 1st period teacher written on the outside of the bag. The packets will be quarantined for two weeks.

2)If you still have not been contacted yet by your child's 1st period teacher regarding their grades, please reach out to them via email or email

3)Parents, there are other ways that you can help students continue to learn online through platforms such as Edmentum, ReadWorks, and Khan Academy. This information is on our WPM Facebook page.

4) We will not have regular office hours here at WPM. However, if you still have questions or concerns, someone will be in the office this Friday from 8am-12pm if you want to call.

5)Any 8th grader that has a damaged CCBOE chromebook at home, that chromebook can be brought by WPM this Friday between 8am-12pm.

We hope that everyone is staying well and continues to stay safe in the midst of the illnesses that have spread throughout our country. On behalf of the entire WPM faculty, we truly miss you children being in our school building on a daily basis!
