Announcements are made first thing each morning.  We will do our best to keep the website up to date with announcements.  However, the best way to keep up to date with what's happening on our campus is to follow us on Twitter. @westpointmiddle. 

Report Cards and Newsletters will be sent home with each student on Thursday, October 12.  

Chicken Sales continues through next week.  Please help us out with this fundraiser. 

Next week is Red Ribbon Week.  Since we have already had our HC "dress-up" days, we ask studend to participate by focusing on the theme each day and wear normal school clothes, hair, etc. 
Tuesday -- Sock it to Drugs -- Wear Crazy Socks
Wednesday -- We're too Bright for Drugs -- Wear sunglasses
Thursday -- Pledge to be Drug-Free -- Wear something red
Friday --- Scare off drugs - on this day students are allowed to wear their Halloween costume.  No masks or accessories. Costumes MUST be in dress code. 
Halloween dance in on this Friday. Admission is $5 and concessions will be sold. 

Wednesday -- Tacky Day
Thursday -- Super Hero Day
Friday -- Team Spirit Day
Monday -- Neon Day/ Hawaiian Day
Pep Rally at 2:00 on Monday.... Game at 5:00

There will be a flu clinic provided for our students on October 3.  Students MUST return the form that was sent home on Friday, Sept. 22 to be given the flu vaccine. 

Tuesday is HAT DAY for United Way.  $1 to wear a hat and support a great cause.  This fundraiser is a county-wide effort. 

Progress reports, newsletters, Aspire reports, and a message from Mrs. Culpepper were sent home with all students today. Please take a look at all of these.  Newsletter is attached in the resources tab. 

Softball Tryouts are on Monday, Sept. 18.  If you have a conflict on Monday, you may attend a session on Sunday afternoon. 

Tuesday will be HAT DAY for United Way.  This is a Cullman County Schools Project. 

Student council is currently involved in a service project for the local animal shelter. Please see the newsletter for additional information.
